Shipping, Freight Charges & Returns

Free Shipping*

  • Orders over $120 (under 5kg actual or cubic weight) are eligible for free standard shipping within mainland Australia and Tasmania.

  • Exclusions apply: bulky items, firearm safes, and some promotional/sale periods are not included.

  • Orders under $120: shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight.

Carriers & Delivery Times

  • We ship Australia-wide via Australia Post, StarTrack, and Fastway Couriers, selecting the quickest and most reliable option for your location.

  • Standard delivery time is usually 3–7 business days, depending on your location.

  • Some remote areas are serviced by Australia Post contractors (‘On-Forwarding Areas’). In these cases, items longer than 1m may not be accepted by Australia Post. Please contact us if you’re ordering oversized goods to these areas.

  • International orders: Please contact us for a shipping quote.

Dispatch Times

We do our best to have all orders picked, packed, and dispatched within 1–2 business days. Please note, during busy periods such as Christmas or major sales events, dispatch may take longer.

 


Delivery & Security

  • For security, we recommend using a delivery address where someone is available to sign for your parcel.

  • If you select “Leave without signature”, you are authorising Trellys and our courier partners to leave your parcel at the nominated address. This is at the driver’s discretion. Trellys accepts no responsibility for loss or damage if you choose this option.


 

Returns & Warranty

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

All online purchases with Trellys are covered by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees:

  • Faulty Goods: If a product is faulty, doesn’t match its description, or isn’t fit for purpose, you are entitled to a remedy (refund, replacement, or repair).

  • Minor vs Major Failures: For minor faults, we may choose to repair or replace the item. For major failures, you can choose your preferred remedy, including a refund.

  • Proof of Purchase: You will be asked to provide proof of purchase (e.g. email receipt).

  • Return Costs: Customers are responsible for return postage, unless Trellys is at fault.

Trellys Store-Specific Returns Policy

  • Returns Window: Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • Change of Mind Returns: Eligible items must be returned within 21 days of delivery for store credit only.

  • Condition: Products must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition and packaging with all tags intact.

  • Exclusions: Certain items (e.g. special orders) are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for shipping costs

Warranty Returns

  • Items returned for warranty must be carefully packaged (e.g. rods should be sent in heavy-duty protective tubes).

  • Items must be clean and secure to avoid damage in transit.

  • Return freight costs for warranty claims are the customer’s responsibility, unless otherwise required under ACL.

  • Trellys does not accept unauthorised returns — please contact us before sending any item back.

  • Weapons (guns, ammunition, bows, arrows) are not sold online and cannot be shipped.
