Blue Dog Bobber – 55mm 21g
The Blue Dog Bobber is a traditional freshwater jig inspired by the original Voltic Bobber, a long-time favourite among anglers targeting redfin in lakes and impoundments.
Designed primarily for vertical jigging from a boat, the Blue Dog Bobber can be worked using a slow, rolling jigging motion or a fast, aggressive whipping action to entice strikes from hungry redfin. While redfin are the main target, this style of fishing can also attract yellowbelly and the occasional Murray cod.
One of the standout features of the Blue Dog Bobber is its erratic falling action, which creates an enticing movement as the lure drops through the water, grabbing the attention of nearby fish and triggering reaction bites.
The Blue Dog Bobber colour range has been developed using years of freshwater fishing experience, featuring proven colour combinations that appeal to redfin in a variety of conditions.
Measuring 55mm and weighing 21g, the Bobber features a compact, solid-bodied design that's ideal for working through schools of redfin.
