The Codger TopWater is an Australian-designed surface fishing lure, developed in Shepparton, Victoria, specifically for targeting Murray Cod.

It is designed to imitate small animals moving across the water's surface, including mice, rats, frogs and small ducks, triggering aggressive surface strikes. 

Key features

  • Jointed body: Creates lifelike movement through the water.

  • Surface action: Mimics struggling prey travelling across the surface.

  • Front bib: Helps generate movement and surface disturbance.

  • Double split rings: Fitted to the rear treble hook to improve hook-up rates.
