The BarraVibe is a specifically designed barra spin rod that excels in fishing lipless crankbaits as well as small to medium soft swimbaits. Many a huge barra has been caught by casting a Trans Am or Slick Rig on a BarraVibe! Off course you can cast almost any type of lure, including topwater frogs and hard bodied lures.

The beauty of the spin rod for barra is obtaining easy, trouble free casting regardless of which direction the wind is blowing. You’ll always get good distance and no backlash.

And the BarraVibe is as powerful as it is sensitive.

Blank construction is the new ‘Armour 40-5’. This all new blank technology is the ultimate in blank reinforcement that runs from butt to tip – the optimal solution to create a more robust blank while maintaining the Millerods benchmarks of lightweight sensitivity!

The 2pc blank construction with removable handle means that transport and storage is extremely easy, and there is no interruption to the smooth fast action.

The Fuji TVS reel seat and carbon locking hood ensures the angler grip is both comfortable and secure, while the split grip handle is super comfortable and also enhances the amazing sensitivity of this rod (not suitable for rod holders!). The hard rubber fighting rest grip allows for comfortable fishing during a hot bite or if a big fish is hooked deep and vertical.

The multi-guide train of Fuji Fazlite ceramics with a larger size tip-top gives excellent knot clearance for those heavy leaders, as well as super smooth line flow all in a lightweight guide set.

^Millerods recommends the use of the FG knot for connecting braided fishing lines to monofilament leaders. While this rod does have an oversize tip-top, all Ian’s lure casting guide trains are selected with this connecting knot in mind.
